Palmolien Oil :
Government of India formulated a scheme for supply of Imported RBD Palmolein Oil to the State Governments for distribution to the BPL families subject to a subsidy of Rs. 15/- per Kg initially for 3 months, to control the price rise. An allotment of 13,000 Mts. of P Oil was made to A.P. per month from April, May and June 2008. From July, 2008 onwards a quantity of 20,750 Mts.

According to GOI scheme, the PSUs will supply the subsidized oil to State Government/UTs who will supply the oil to ration card holders. The maximum quantity so distributed by State Governments will not exceed 1 (one) litre of edible oil per ration card/family per month.

The GOI have designated MMTC to state Government for import of RBD Palmolien oil and supply to the State Government. The MMTC supplies imported RBD palmolein oil in packed form ie., in one litre pouches through packing units appointed at Kakinada and Krishnapatnam (Nellore) ports.

The District Managers, APSCSCL, Kakinada and Nellore have been appointed as Nodal officers for transactions with supporting staff.

The APSCSCL has appointed transport contractors zone wise for transportation of packed P.Oil from Kakinada and Krishnapatnam ports to various MLS points in all the Districts.

Accordingly APSCSCL entered into an agreement with MMTC Limited for purchase and distribution of P.Oil.

Under the said scheme, 89004 MTs of imported RBD Palmolein Oil has been Purchased and distributed under Central Govt Subsidy Scheme of Rs.13.65 per litre from July 2008 to March 2009.

When Central Govt. stopped further supply of Subsidized Palmolein Oil to the State, the State Government, in order to have un-interrupted supply of P.Oil to white card holders, have taken a decision in the review meetings by Group of Ministers, purchased 65,652 MTs of P.Oil from MMTC with State Govt. Subsidy and distributed the same from April 2009 to August,2009.

State Govt incurred a subsidy of Rs. 55.03 Crores on distribution of P.Oil from April 09 to Aug 09.

GOI have restored P.Oil Subsidy Scheme and allotted 20,750 Mts. of P.Oil per month to AP from Aug.2009 to March, 2010 and extended up to Oct,2010 and again up to March,2011 and MMTC as tagging PUC.

Further the GOI have extended the scheme upto Sept ‘2011,again upto September 2012 with a monthly allocation of 21,000 Mts per month and again extended recently up to September 2013 with a monthly allocation of 22,000Mts with same subsidy of Rs.15/- per Kg. or Rs.13.65 /- per Litre pouch of 910 gms. While extending the Scheme again tagged MMTC as designated PUC.

- The End Consumer Price fixed by Government and enhanced from time to time is as follows:
Up to 17-11-2008 Rs 45/- per one litre pouch.
From 18-11-2008 to 24-6-2011 Rs 35/- per one litre pouch.
From 25-6-2011 to till date Rs 40/- per one litre pouch.
WAREHOUSING:
- The Corporation is having its own scientific godowns in addition to hiring godowns from Government Agencies and private owners for operating 438 MLS points and GCC is also operating 32 MLS points in the State for distribution of essential commodities under PDS. As and when additional storage capacity is required, corporation is hiring Godowns from other agencies and private parties.
RPDS VEHICLES:
· During the year 1999, Corporation has purchased 32 vehicles (10 Mts. Capacity 18 and 6 Mts, capacity 14) of different makes like Ashoka Leyland, Swaraj Mazda etc. under subsidy scheme ie., 50% subsidy by the Central Government and 50% subsidy by the State Government for transportation of essential commodities in rural areas. The same are being utilized for transportation of essential commodities under Stage-I & II.
MS & HSD RETAIL OUTLETS:
- The Corporation is running 5 MS & HSD Retail Outlets at the following places.
1. A.P.Secretaraiat, Hyderabad.
2. Seethammadara, Visakhapatnam.
3. Hafeezpet, RR District.
4. Undi (Bhimavaram) west Godavari District.
5. LB Nagar Outlet at LB Nagar, Hyderabad
PDS K.OIL OUTLETS:

The Corporation is running 4 PDS Kerosene oil wholesale distribution points and 1 Retail distribution point at the following places.
1. Kapra, Rangareddy District.
2. Prathipadu, Guntur District.
3. Kavali, Nellore District.
4 . Mulagada, Visakhapatnam District (Retail Distribution Outlet)
